This is pure speculation. Rey is used to charging head first with her lightsaber, but that won't work on Wanda, so she'll likely try her Force powers instead.

It was clear that Rey regretted using lightning. As DT has mentioned already, the only reason she used it was by accident.

And again, she identifies herself with the lightside of the force, ergo she using Force Lightning goes against her character traits.

Except Rey is constantly angry in and goes straight for the dark side. Luke even said it in TLJ. She's a horrible Jedi.

I can easily see Rey and Wanda getting into a TK stalemate, which frustrates Rey and results in a lightning bolt.

But again, when did Rey ever used lightning against Kylo? She was pretty pissed at him.

Cause she didn't get the opprtunity? He drained her and then she reflected his lightning back at him.

Rey died killing Palpatine. And that was with the help of multiple Jedi spirits. Hence theres no credible argument to place her > Palpatine.

And of course Eon and Broly will say Rey wins. They both claim Khan beats Palpatine 😂

To be fair, Palpatine was also amped by the Sith spirits and the life force of Rey and Kylo.
