They could have just kept going with Kylo as the villain. And maybe have the Knights of Ren actually do something.

But honestly? I wanted to see Ian McDiarmid again --- without him, I'd probably vomit at "Reylo" bullshit romance.

He's 75, so I doubt we'll see much of him after TRoS. Not everyone ages as well as Christopher Lee.

Bring him back for a Tv series or something. Not for this garbage. He should be dead at the end of ROTJ.

Also if Kylo was the main villain then im pretty sure the Reylo romance wouldnt be there lol

I am not Quan, but Snoke is still better than Palpatine even in death and could solo the entire SW verse with a cherry on his head.

Because Abrams cant make Star Wars villains. Simple as.

Filoni can. GI was good in Rebels, plus he isnt scared to borrow from the EU so he had Thrawn as well.
