Man is one of the most powerful beings in the new trilogy.

Snoke was one half of Kylo, Kylo one half of Snoke. No one could defeat what they represented together.

That's why they called it The Force Awakens in the first place. Kylo and Snoke were one. However, when the force awoke all the infinite midichlorians seperated the two.
