Hey you guys (and gals ?) should check out kayfabe. It's an entertainment technique from the wwe. I think it's infecting american life on every level and it would make sense because trump is in the wwe hall of fame. If anyone is interested i have a cool video on it.

Kayfabe means that the entertainment seems real, and the audience acts like it's real, but their is an agreement that the entertainment, in fact, does not relate to reality.

Im not saying the mayweather/mcgreggor thing is for sure an example of kayfabe, im saying that if it in fact came out it was a media ploy to make more money for the fight, that if one were to use the kayfabe perceptual filter to look at that fight before it became official it was fixed, or whatever the kayfabe term equivalent would be here, would be able to predict it was fixed.
Another hypothetical version would be if pepsi and coke talked shit to eachother all thr time, then we find out they're owned by the same people, and the false adversarial nature of how they interact makes team pepsi and team coke, each team driving up the sales of both, but making money for the singular entity that owns both.
