It's not being "blown out of proportion", this is just another pro-Trump taking point to defend Trump's recklessness and asinine comments.
The Coronavirus has a much higher fatality-rate (around 2%) than the Flu, if it happens to spread in the US like the Flu does, that's a lot of dead bodies and that's the concern people have. What if it spreads like the Flu.

Check my posting history on Coronavirus. It was my talking point before it was Trump's. Whirly agreed with me, too. We held these positions before Trump thought it was cool. And the body count does not match the seasonal flue, still, despite how long it has been.

And the numbers are likely inflated as even WHO, in their mortality rate study, warns about their data being reflective of severe cases and not absolute 'infected but fine' all the way to 'infected and then died' data being available.

Okay cool, but the larger point i was making is that it is now seepint out of the wwe realm and into every other realm of experience, at least in america, and my hypothesis is that kayfabe, along with conspiracy theory and extremist political ideologies are the post modern world's equivalent to mythology/religion/magic/whatever.
