He's a comedian, but he does try to have serious discussions on his show too so I don't think he necessarily gets any kind of pass for being a comedian.

Maher can be hit or miss, he is refreshingly anti-woke when it comes to Islam and the woke left. In the ep before this latest one he was going after people for saying using the term "Chinese virus" is racist. In this most recent episode he also went at the media for this "doom and gloom" porn.

But still when it comes to Trump he has a blind spot. By the end the only real complaint he had was about Trump's attitude(that he was too optimistic).

Why are people frustrated with this? Because the science is being ignored. We are increasing the risk of more deaths with the policies we are putting in place, and we are prolonging the situation unnecessarily. What should be a moderately impacting seasonal illness is turning out to be a disaster and it is only due to the policies being put in place.

And I figured out why we had a spike in deaths despite all the quarantines, lockdowns, shelter in place policies: at least some of those deaths are inflated due to the new CDC guidelines that I had talked about prior. The timing is just right.

Very sad what's going on in the hospitals. Nurses are so busy with all the COVID-19 patients that they are being run ragged.

In their empty hospitals before they get laid off or furloughed due to the medical organizations not being able to fund that many staff when they aren't making money.

Healthcare in the US is still a big business. No business, layoffs abound until you're staffed to the correct levels.

Where are those stories in the news?
