Anyways, now to try to get back on track discussing this Chinese Virus that has killed so many:
US officials confirm full-scale investigation of whether coronavirus escaped from Wuhan lab
It should be noted that they aren't saying China tried to weaponize this or anything:
"Fox News first reported on Wednesday that there is increasing confidence that the outbreak likely originated in a Wuhan lab, not as a bioweapon but as part of a Chinese effort to show that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal or greater than those of the U.S.
U.S. officials and the intelligence community have confirmed to Fox News that they have taken the possibility of the coronavirus being man-made or engineered inside China as some sort of bioweapon off the table and have ruled it out at this point."

Hey, you almost had me doing it again, the same reply! You little troll, you! peaches

Nobody does except PVS, Robtard, and Surtur. It's very dull and stupid as f*ck.
Part of me is beginning to tire of it. It's why I think it would be best if bash put me(and probably you) on ignore. He gets too emotional. He constantly makes bad faith assumptions about people here. I mean he was legit trying to say we were saying hospitals are overwhelmed because doctors are neglecting people in order to do dance routines.
And then he ran over to the off topic forum and started talking about trumpers scapegoating doctors lol.

So stop continuing the with it.
Engage the facts and keep it to the articles and updates.

You're correct. He's still useful to use as a puppet. He's a walking bag of toxic lefty talking points and tactics.

CNN has this article about how some experts are saying grocery stores should stop allowing customers inside.Such a move would be disastrous. These places are already struggling to keep up with online orders and that would exacerbate the problem. IMO it would lead to lots of looting.
So I'm confused.
Are supposed to submit to government orders and be extremely meek, humble, and submissive?
Or am I supposed to question and criticize the government and constantly work against the government?
Most specifically, why is that the unreasonable and hysterical leftist morons railed against Trump, his administration, and the GOP for years but now all of a sudden, they accept any and all orders related to COVID-19? It's such an odd behavioral dichotomy. Don't they know they are following the orders from Trump's administration?

That's stupid. It's the exact opposite of what they should be doing.
This will be an unpopular opinion, but someone has to come up with them and it may as well be me:
We should be encouraging people to go into stores in droves.
And other places too. Open everything up, get large herds of people together. So we can work on "herd immunity".
Call me crazy, but there's actually experts behind the idea. Though I've been saying this since day one.

I think many people are aware of this proposal. The user dadudemon seems to be a proponent of it as well. Initially the UK and the Netherlands seemed to want to drive this strategy. The idea was to try to section off the most vulnerable, while those not as likely to be negatively affected by the virus work quickly to achieve herd immunity, so that also the vulnerable are protected. Both the UK and Netherlands have somewhat distanced themselves from that strategy, Boris Johnson and the UK government famously were convinced to drop the strategy after seeing some modeling of the fallout this would have on their healthcare system (and economy).
All in all I think almost all independent countries in the world (one exception perhaps being Brazil) have for now decided that the fast natural herd immunity strategy as you propose it, is not the right trade off, and instead are using mitigation or suppression strategies, and pour hopes into a treatment or vaccine.
There is some debate to be had of course. And perhaps the stance will change if new evidence should come out from more tests on antibodies, but I think to many people and most governments right now the more cautious approach seems more prudent.
Problem IMO with establishing herd immunity is due to the fact that we know so little about the virus.
How fast does it mutate? Does it recur? Does it do permanent damage to our bodies (to a significant enough portion of the ones considered “not at risk”)? How long does the immunity last? Is there a chance we can get reinfected again? Is there a chance for the immune and asymptomatic to transmit the virus to their loved ones who are then vulnerable.
I’m sure there could studies/articles that prove/disprove some of the above but I haven’t bothered to do a more in-depth research at the moment, these are just concerns that have popped up in recent articles I’ve come across.
Not to mention cordoning off the vulnerable might not even be possible for some families (elderly parents living with their kids for support/care).
But worst thing, of course, would be the impact to our healthcare services.
Worst case (IF the virus turns out to be worse than our stats are saying), one possible solution I can think of would be to go the opposite way. Bubble boy every single person outside their home. Decon showers in every home/building/doorway. Until an actual safe vaccine is made and tested, this may be the safest option IMO.
It won’t look exactly like the above tho, but it has the same concept.
It’s not pleasant and ppl would look damned funny but I feel this would only require the fashion/clothing industry to start selling these clothes and DIY home improvement stores to sell the parts to small doorway-sized decon showers. Medical insurance would cover it so ppl can afford it. IF you can’t make your body immune to the disease coming from the environment, make your body immune to the environment. XD
Condos/apartments (especially tiny ones) might be tricky tho. But might need to require every person to have one on.
It’s a POSSIBLE solution to the problem. We don’t need to put anything into our bodies that is yet untested, the technology already exists and it can be safely rolled out in a matter of months instead of a year or even years. Not only that, these kinds of PPE’s are ALREADY needed anyway for out healthcare frontliners so ramping up production and technology is actually a priority atm.
