The flu kills .1% of the infected. Coronavirus kills 2%. But it is total hysteria.

So... People dying from brand new ways on top of that is okay, somehow?

I mean, I get that's not what you're saying, and you probably just want people to not panic, but calling it a hoax is a bit of an exaggeration, imo. People have already died from it.

IMO the right response is to be cautious but not be a little weasel over hyping this and trying to score political points by blaming Trump, Republicans, etc.

I don't know if it was or wasn't Trump's fault. What I believe, though, is that if precautions weren't properly taken and someone died, then someone is to blame.

When did I even suggest that it was his fault? I literally said that I didn't know if it was or not.

Being patronizing really doesn't help your case. Nor does it make you look less paranoid that everyone is out to get Trump.

I agree being patronizing is wrong. I'm sorry if my faith that you aren't suffering from TDS like some others may have been misplaced, perhaps giving you the benefit of the doubt was wrong.

Look, I'll be honest with you: If an outbreak happens in a country where proper precautions weren't taken, then sure, I blame the government. So I blame the governments of China, Italy and yes, even Ireland.

If it turns out that someone in the USA didn't do their jobs and people died because of it, then yes, the buck has to stop with the government.

I still think Trump is an abhorrent human being that I wouldn't piss on if he were on fire, but no, I don't know enough about the situation in America to guess either way.

And I'd agree with you if people in this country applied that logic evenly.
