Politico said he tried to cast the outbreak as a conspiracy. Not the response to the outbreak, but the outbreak itself.

An unfair comparison, a virus.

I see Trump as more of an ameoba. They have an outer shell they can deploy at will to avert antibodies, just like Trump seems to ward off behavior that would tank anyone else's career, no matter how obviously toxic.

This isn't on trump. This is due to insane people getting outraged over anything and everything he says to the point where nobody gives a shit when he does something legitimately wrong.

So you let other people's feelings dictate what is objectively right and wrong for you? Sounds like a very "but my feelings" approach.
