Speaking of cartels and drugs. I've started growing marijuana in my backyard. Well, I've got three seeds per-sprouting right now since Sunday. Have another 20ish seeds in dry storage.

When they sprout, I'll move them into small high quality dirt containers and let them grow there until they're about 6-8 inches, then move them to a 5gallon pot.

I don't use it myself, intend to give the buds to the few friends who do smoke it. It's legal here in lovely California.

This communist druggie!

red-fly has concerns

He forgot to post that in red too; would have been perfect with the "communist" comment. He's really slipping.

The Red font is not for all occassions.

If you can't even make the word "communist" red...

You're uninspired these days.

It must be the drugs!

Which drugs now?

I think you are doing it 70's style these days with a candy dish filled with random pills.

I don't do drugs, LoB

What about ye old grog?

Stopped drinking at 40, was never much of a drinker before that, decided to drop it all together.

I do miss the sweet bitterness of a bottled Guinness though, been thinking of having one here and there. And the occasional glass of red wine.

There's supposed to be a monstrous uptick in COVID-19 cases in Michigan because of the protests (that's what some of the pro-lockdown pundits and the Governor are saying). I'll keep an eye on testing, positive results, negative results, and deaths. It's a great but morbid test to see how these relaxed rules, coming up over the next few weeks, will change results in the data.

Today would be the first day we would really see a giant uptick because it would be day 4 or 5 of protests and the incubation period was something like 4.8 days on average. I'll have to check. But, their data could really help other states figure out what to do.

How do reglular people get this thing?

Yeah, nurses and first responders work with sick people. But if you're not on one of those front lines, how hard is it to wear the damned mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance so no one coughs all over you?

There's got to be something to it. Maybe they're doing stupidly large family gatherings or something.

Fluctuations in your immune system most likely!

I know cold weather puts more stress on the immune system.

"Nearly all coronavirus patients who needed ventilators in New York's largest health system to help them breathe died, a study found.

Overall, about 20% of Covid-19 patients treated at Northwell Health died, and 88% of those placed on ventilators died, according to the study."

New York needs to get their act together.

stay classy s&m, you're really a good person

What, you don't want New York to get their act together and save more lives? Wow, there is something wrong with you.

I should note that any and all excuses to put any problems the US has, dealing with COVID-19, has nothing to do with Obama. You cannot be president for 3 years and blame problems on Obama, still.

To be fair they were hardly three uneventful years, if you catch my meaning..
