I just wonder what spurs on this derangement. The "trump said inject bleach!" thing has been thoroughly debunked. Why do you feel so many supposedly intelligent individuals continue to pretend otherwise? Is it ignorance? Are they ashamed at having been once again been duped by the media?

Tribalism. The most basic of our ape instincts. Humans are very tribalistic. We are built for tribes of around 60 people.
As we evolved into what we are, now, our biggest enemies were the elements (not usually other elements), natural disasters, and OTHER HUMANS.
