Anyway Weve had mass protests here (UK) today. Crowds were too large to social distance. Got a bit violent as well.

Was in every major city so we will get another spike now.

Over here though both the Government and the Opposition party warned people not to go out.

It was an example of context. Unlike you I wasnt equalizing.

Also you dont seem to get people are shouting out because this is life or death for them on a daily basis.

no, it's not life or death

and the context is: anti-lockdown protests are no more or less safe than these protests

you do not get to pick and choose which are allowed

Well unlike those white animals protesting to reopen the economy most of the people at these protests have mouth coverings

so there will be a spike but hopefully a small spike and not a new york sized spike

I'll allow your ad hominem about another poster, but disagree on the post being wrong.

And I'll allow you to agree with people who aren't very bright.

See? This is fun 🙂

I rarely agree with Flystar. dur

The Lancet has made one of the biggest retractions in modern history. How could this happen?

Lol

"You have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero." -Trump's Feb 26th proclamation

Reality: US has crossed the 110,000 deaths mark and over 2million cases.

No retraction from Trump or more importantly... Apology.

Aren't something like 45% of all deaths associated with covid from nursing homes, didn't ny have some of the highest fatality rates due to nursing home deaths?

What difference would that make? It is still 45% more preventable deaths than we should have.

Some journalist asked him about that medical assertion he made when we passed the one million cases mark, he responded: "“Well, it will go down to zero, ultimately."

So you see, he was right all alone. He acts this way because Trumpers allow him too.

I suppose the person that dictated the actions in NY, I suppose that's why.

The actions governors and mayors took, because of the inadequate response from the federal agency that is responsible for pandemic management?

Remember when Obama was President and blame started at the top and Obama openly said it did with him?

Not anyone, it's never Trump's fault, it's all the other "cucks" that did or didn't do something.

Do you understand the the president isn't a dictator, states have their own system and aren't ruled by the president.

Do you understand that we have a dedicated federal agency that is responsible for managing pandemics, and receives millions of dollars of tax payer money each year specifically for that purpose?

What are we paying them for if states and cities have to come up with their own plans? Because Trump wants to play politics with the pandemic response to help his re-election?

The money did't dictate the govenors actions, well not the federal money. What he did killed alot of ppl, that is the long and short of it, Trump being a dick had nothing to do with the deaths associated with nursing homes.

He ignored the warnings from that agency and then lied to the American people about the threat. If governors and mayors knew what he knew when he knew it, those deaths could have been prevented.
