I knew Italy had released info saying they'd found traces of the virus in sewage dating back to December. But 9 months before that is troubling. I knew about the meat processing plants having problems but had no idea how widespread it was. 2 in the UK have shut down including from the same company that are the biggest employer is the town where I work. Very worrying.

Yeah, 9months of silence would be troubling news to find out.

Are you guys surging upwards again?

US just passed 130K deaths. Seems the '147K deaths by/in August' IHME model done back in mid May will be correct within the margin of error.

In international news: Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive, which puts him in an odd position as he was a denier and down-player of covid-19.

A bit of a rise not a surge though, that will come. People are being saner than expected according to my eldest son.

And now if we could get the Actual Numbers of people ACTUALLY Killed by the Virus and not the numbers of People who died or were killed via Other Causes but are being Attributed to The Corona.

There's been isolated pockets but overall, no. Leicester is in a local lockdown. Other flare ups have been squashed by contact tracing.

There's already reports of pubs closing down in England after being opened for 3 days because of reports of new cases. England isn't doing well with it.

Good, glad the UK overall isn't following the US' fouled example.

You have it backwards. Opening up is good, not bad for deaths. More people need to get out and about into the world and not be at home.

The goal should be to save lives.

The US is doing okay. We could be doing better, however:

Here's what we could have done to save tens of thousands of lives:

1. locked down our elder care facilities
2. Not locked the US at all for everything else
3. Not housed COVID-19 positive elderly with other elderly
4. Pushed very hard for known solutions for fighting Coronavirus such as HCQ+Zinc+Azithromycin.

Opening up without sensible restrictions isn't good and it's why the US is leading the world in covid-19 idiocy. Though Brazil is apparently trying hard to be #1.

Right, this is the correct, by the science, solution set:

3. Not housed COVID-19 positive elderly with other elderly

I'm hundredxs of times more Native American than Senator Warren.

And I'm only something insignificant like 1/16 or 1/32. WEEEE!

I saw 2 John Wayne movies. That makes me more native American than Warren.

Going to be awkward if he's killed by a hoax.

Seems like a large portion of Brazil is rooting for the virus.
