I was reading about the tests. But I can't find how long it takes before you can test as legit negative.

5 days? Meaning, you make contact and you can't be sure for 5 days? Or can the test show positive within a few hours?

This is how our state health department is handling it:

After initial contact with someone who has the virus, you go on a mandatory "self quarantine" for 2 weeks. After that 2 weeks is over, you get properly tested for the virus... Unless you exhibit symptoms before then, obviously.
