Just had my first direct contact with a COVID-19 patient. What fun. ermm
😘

Just keep those hands away from your mouth, and keep washing. I wouldn't handle food with your hands as an added precaution, use a fork.

US has crossed the 1,000 infected mark.

And to imagine that just two weeks ago Trump in his "great knowledge" said:

"And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done." -trump

Yep. This entire debacle has been completely underplayed and it’s only going to get significantly worse from here on out.

Can't speak for other countries, but the Trump admin should have taken this seriously from the start as far as the US is concerned. We had China's nonsense to look at and learn from for months.

First death of someone from it here in Ireland. It feels bad to be glad that she was already sick and not some perfectly healthy person that just dropped dead.

Always using any crisis to attack our great president.

Yeah, you're right... Trump should've went along with the narrative that this virus was the equivalent of the sky falling so the country as a whole would be panicking. Inducing panic in the nation you're leading sounds like such a great idea. 🙄

Of course if Trump had "taken it more seriously", at this very moment you'd instead be criticizing him for causing panic. No matter what Trump does or doesn't do it's "Orange man bad!" always and forever no matter what, amirite?

Robbie's silent thoughts: "Yes, it is! He beat Hillary and we'll never ever forgive him for that!! 😠 "

eg Trump telling people two weeks ago that the virus was going to be completely gone out of the US isn't taking things serious, star/fly.

Trump's inaction and foolish "this is nothing" stances from the start had a cascading affect and we're seeing it now, when he should have listened to people and started planning ahead months ago.

To be fair, it's closer to tens of thousands of US Citizens have gotten COVID-19 but most of them were asymptomatic and cleared it from their system before it got them considerably ill. Still, others only got mildly sick. That 1000 figure is like a sample set of a sample set: only those ill or those traveling that were in contact with someone ill and known to have COVID-19.

But people won't say what I did. Because it would create far more panic (despite that fact it should create the opposite).

We get it, you're intent on incorrectly blaming Trump.

You've been carrying Trump's water again from the start, excusing every stupid to dangerous thing he's said (eg 'The heat will fix it, no need to prep!'), cos the marching orders tell you. But your deflection has been noted regardless. /noted

From the beginning you've been looking for things to whine about. And the sick thing is people like you are also in the media and are creating a panic. But hey orange man bad so who cares?

The doubling rate/threshold effect is pretty amazing to see firsthand.

Also, there are now confirmed cases in the county I live in, so all the schools in my local district are getting ready to close.

I wonder if the Olympics will still happen? They aren't until July.

^ Surprise, surprise, Surt's blaming others again for the problems he helped create.

I'd chill with the TDS 👆

Yeah, not going to be surprised if the US is at 4,000+ before this month ends.

I'm expecting the ones in my area to close in the coming few weeks.

You're wasting your time and energy, Surt. It's like talkin' to a wall.

Robbie is too far gone with his TDS to ever come back from it. CNN and MSNBC have damaged his mind beyond repair. The only thoughts he has anymore are "orange man bad!", "orange man bad!". It's sad.

Just 5 days ago, we had our first case here in Indiana. Now there are 10 confirmed cases that the media is aware of, and several more that I know about personally.

And considering it's now popping up in schools, I expect the numbers to start growing exponentially here.
