U.S. coronavirus data is ‘disturbing,’ Dr. Fauci says, disputing Trump’s claim that U.S. is ‘rounding the corner’

“When you have a baseline of infections that are 40,000 per day and you have threats of increased test positivity in certain regions of the country, such as the Dakotas and Montana and places like that. ... You don’t want to start off already with a baseline that’s so high,” he said.

He added that the concerns are heightened by the approaching fall and winter seasons, which will likely push people indoors where the virus can spread more easily.

Fauci said the U.S. will be in a “more precarious situation” in the fall and winter and if the country continues to report the current level of new cases everyday, it will put the U.S. at “a disadvantage right from the very beginning.” Over the past couple of weeks, Fauci and other top health officials have repeatedly warned that cases must continue to decline as the country approaches colder weather.

Plan.
Wreck the economy and destroy jobs so no one can pay their rent or mortgages so they get made homeless so they are outdoors for winter and have less chance of catching the virus

Sorted.

Sorted.

Quite possibly.

This is explains in detail why Trumps lying was so bad (not that you need an explanation) you're not a gaslighting t wat.

De Blasio: No Traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade This Year. He Was Okay With Protest Marches.

Any defense for this hypocrisy or no?

He wants to keep the streets clear for the rioters in november🙂

They can set up voting booths at CVS and then burn it down afterwards.

I have a contingency plan if the virus gets bad enough. I intend to put a homemade "Home Depot" sign in front of my house to grant myself immunity.

It's like putting lamb's blood on your door so angels don't murder your first born.

As of yesterday, meeting in groups of more than six - inside or outside - is illegal in England, punishable by an on-the-spot fine. That's because there has been a spike in cases. The UK had 6 deaths on Friday.

The US had 1,094 deaths on Friday. Trump is still holding rallies.

Now do protests and the john lewis funeral.

Or dodge, it's allowed.

But no single political party is organising the protests Surt. DDM was debunked on that hard. That's why the reduced popularity of Black lives matters is not affecting Biden, although fighting systemic racism is a far better reason to go out in a group than seeing Donny.

But one single political party made excuses for why protests outside were okay but other outdoor gatherings were not.

One single party said no funerals for u, then went to the funeral of John Lewis and failed to social distance. Then the DC mayor said they didn't need to abide by quarantine rules.

Son, you wanna defend any of that?

I would certainly say it's foolish however, Trump seems to know how dangerous Corona is, he has admitted lying to your people on tape, sooooo... clearly he doesn't care about his supporters any more than he does veterans, but strangely he has also said he loves stupid people... 🙂

In February Trump told Woodward that covid-19 was "deadly", a [/i]"serious risk"[/i] and upwards of "five times more deadly than the flu", then went out and downplayed it to the public, saying not to worry about it.

Meanwhile, the US is about to pass 195,000 deaths.

Texas is sitting at more than 4,500 deaths greater than the annual 10,000 deaths they see during flu season.

50% (which is really 150%) greater deaths is not 5 times (which would be 500%, of course). But the US is sitting at greater than 200% a severe flu season.

But what should Trump have done? I still don't know what Trump should do for this. Pretend Trump is not in office: what should the PotUS do during a deadly flu and cold season that sees 200% the a severe annual flu and cold death figure?

This is where I get confused. Even if I pretend someone I like is in office, what should that person do? Pretend it is Yang: what is Yang supposed to do? Other than strongly pushing through an affordable UHC years prior, what is the PotUS supposed to do?

The Numbers are a Very Inflated Lie!

I am glad your state is on fire. Welcome to Hell Robbie!

That's exactly the point really.

There is nothing anyone really could have done. The infrastructure in place was there from before him and the warning we had was too short a time frame.

At this point, the only people who blame trump are the ones salivating at the rising death toll because they think it makes him look bad.

Play golf, get blowjobs from interns and drone strike infected cities with MOABs

Well, there are actions he took that actually caused harm.

Any type of lockdowns that he supported caused or will cause more deaths than if he had done nothing at all. Anything any leaders do that causes economic ruin for upper-middle class and lower actually causes more deaths (stress, lack of access to non-emergency healthcare) than doing nothing at all. This is by the science (I've posted on this many times, before).

Any kind of panic Trump could have created may have also caused more harm than doing nothing at all.

I think holding a press conference or 2, to discuss things you can do to protect the vulnerable, would have been okay. But he should have only introduced medical experts and done nothing else. "Listen to what Dr. Birx has to say about hand sanitization, mask wearing protocols, and UV-Ray bots sanitizing our hospitals. She's very smart and highly educated. Listen to her, closely."

But what else? Remove tariffs on medical equipment needed to fight the VRIs so it keeps costs low?

Other than getting out of the way and literally doing nothing, I cannot think of anything that a PotUS should do in these situations.

U.S. Image Plummets Internationally as Most Say Country Has Handled Coronavirus Badly

Ratings for Trump remain poor

Since Donald Trump took office as president, the image of the United States has suffered across many regions of the globe. As a new 13-nation Pew Research Center survey illustrates, America’s reputation has declined further over the past year among many key allies and partners. In several countries, the share of the public with a favorable view of the U.S. is as low as it has been at any point since the Center began polling on this topic nearly two decades ago. -snip

Ratings for U.S. President Donald Trump have been low in these nations throughout his presidency, and that trend continues this year. Trump’s most negative assessment is in Belgium, where only 9% say they have confidence in the U.S. president to do the right thing in world affairs. His highest rating is in Japan; still, just one-quarter of Japanese express confidence in Trump. -snip

Yeah this is what I meant by the world is looking on. At present external to the US Trump and Trumpers are seen as fools.

And those politicians, which are clearly suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome because their position are not based on the facts, likely will not acknowledge all the other countries ahead of the US on the deaths per capita chart. They most likely will not acknowledge the other countries skyrocketing ahead of the US, as well.

So we don't have to worry about what these MSM-dick-sucking politician retards have to say.

But I do agree Trump could have handled it better. He needed to force the nation to not lockdown at all. Force the nation to stay open with executive orders and worked with the DoJ to prosecute any governors or mayors who tried to implement lockdowns. 👆

Oh, and send people to prison like Cuomo, Murphy, and Gavin for killing tens of thousands of elderly with their murder-policies.
