Updated COVID-19 data. Death rate is dropping in the US as we test more people.
While cases are going up, the increase in deaths is not keeping pace. Just as predicted.
We should see COVID-19 mortality rates start to match my original predicted numbers of .3%-.6% in a couple of weeks as testing gets faster and more available.
Bad news, though, the seasonal flu is on track to be the most deadly for children in all of US History. And we are at near epidemic levels of flu-related deaths: 7.1% and the threshold is 7.3% percent. With the hysteria around COVID-19, this will prevent MANY deaths related to the seasonal flu.

We're going a bit more hardcore here, in South Africa. Locally, anyone here who tries to mass hoard items or any stores or businesses that try price hikes to profit from the situation will face actual legal action.
