Coronavirus

@ddm

So ive been following ur breakdowns and as hesitant as ive been to agree completly with u as to the degree of worry we should have, im slowly starting 2 lean a bit more that way.

After surt posted about that 18 year old that died from it yesterday i was looking for an article on it and came across several about teenagers who die from the seasonal flu.

Apart from the stories being freaking heartbreaking, i was pretty shocked at how often it happens.

Now i remember u posting something a lil while from a dr saying that stopping the flu is an impossible task or something along those lines.

I was wondering ur opinion on the line of thought that ignoring which one is worse in its own, its obviously more dangerous to be dealing with both at the same time than either separately.

Since the stopping the flu is an impossible hill to climb

Do u feel that the levels of worry/caution are warranted in an attempt to stop corona as fast as possible in an effort to avoid major outbreaks of both at once?

well if were counting beating off on a webcam as work then i guess i have 2 jobs. 😉

whacking off is purely recreation for me, I haven't gone pro yet. just working on an imac, in my defacto home office.

If there was a vaccine towards covid-19, people wouldn't be as worried. It's the unknown of a new virus coupled with the lack of vaccine and the potential for disaster. Influenza and the vaccine has been around longer than any of us has been alive. Yes, even star/fly.

@nib

So im back home after my day at work or as nib likes to call it "running away" from a bz challenge.

I mean i guess it could have been considered courageous to not "run away" and stay home, not keep my shop open, send my half dozen employees home, without earning a days wage, as well as turning away my regularly scheduled customers and now the town, of which i ive recently been doing service for since most of the town workers are on quarentine.

Since my cowardly running away has left such a bad taste in my mouth, perhaps Nibedicus the Brave could regal me with some tales of his recent heroism so maybe some of his bz challenging courage could wash off on me and rinse this cowardly taste out.

Please nib regale me.

It's frustrating dealing with people all over the place that just don't comprehend that we have long past "exposure saturation" and a majority of us have been exposed, recovered, and have the antibodies to prove it.

To lock up that Oxford study, another reputable research entity needs to do a simple random sample of the population, test for those antibodies, and determine how many had to be hospitalized for COIVD-19-like symptoms.

I'm open to being wrong with my estimates. But true mortality rate is probably closer to .1% making my estimate way too high.

The UK government have ordered a million antibody testing kits for that very purpose.

It's nice to see some of the very wealthy donate their own money or supplies for the less wealthy. Interestingly it's mostly sports figures initiating it.

A lot of sports personalities come from working class backgrounds, also, a lot of them earn more money than their tiny little brains know what to do with. Good on them though at any rate.

It's kind of a selfless act of generosity. I won't insult the intelligence of someone who is trying to help in a very direct way. And yes, most came from a low income household. Many other athletes come from the same background. But only a few are sympathic. I guess the ones who horde or buy million dollar cars are better people though.

Seems as though you think I disagree with the concept of athletes donating their money to help out because I said they had tiny brains.

Wow. Now you feel the need to go humble bragging about IRL “courage” in a forum because you’re salty over losing a debate online.

/slowclap

SMH.

F*CKIN' NICE!

Thank the filthy Red Coats for having some common sense. They may save the rest of the world from this retardedly ruinous path we are on.

Not disagreeing. Its just weird to me why point that out. Lots are as dumb as a rock. Not all athletes are, though.

Levity.

I'll go further and say it's nice to that because those few understand where their wealth comes from. The vast majority of the other 1%ers have done nothing. I couldn't really care less if they did. It won't affect me. It's just something I noticed.

@nib

Well off to start another day.

Do u have enough of those supplies you've been hoarding since early February to get u thru the next few days of bz challenges? Let me know if u need anything while im out.

Keep up good work brother

Wow. This is sad, dude.

Using RL bragging to lash out at someone online because you ran away from a debate. You say you own/run “a shop” but you sound more like an angry teenager to me.

Don’t hurt your arm patting yourself on the back.

🙄

There was no debate. U refused to debate it unless it was in a bz for a ban like a super cool kid. Now i apparently lost the debate on the topic u refused to discuss. What a joke.

Keep acting like a joke and ill keep treating u like a joke.
