Now I dunno bout you, but I'm feeling pretty confident in my ability to disdain the excessive measures we took over this pandemic once the overall infection and fatality rates are revealed in the end to not have been too high as a result of the excessive measures.

At the same time I'm also confident in my ability to criticize every government who didn't go further with the excessive measures should the pandemic wind up killing an arbitrarily too high amount of people.

My powers of always being right and never being wrong are fabulous and waffling.

*Imaging the song "gimme shelter" as "gimme kool aid"*

it's just a sip away, it's just a sip away

tbh I don't think we can avoid or even reduce mass-infection. the whole point of this seems to be only to slow it down so we can all get infected in an orderly fashion over months instead of days

Ugh, like airplane boarding. Get all the sick and elderly on first while everyone else is waiting for their turn. I paid for my Corona why can't I have it now?

prophetic as well. bookmark that shit

This country is indeed awesome tho. Look how quickly we had so many people go from being constitutional scholars to experts on epidemiology.

how did i miss this? Very nice

Great shape

Nice lines

Looks tight in all the right places

All in all a great pair of underwear, that looks perfectly symmetrical, with straight seams made with high quality spandex. 10/10. 😛

There is no real D to speak of, but the body is so right that it does not really matter. He could have a small D, and still bang it out with a nice body.

Their eagerness to get Trump shows they are nothing more than rabid dogs now.

Your memory is probably better than mine: during the swine flu pandemic did the media have nightly infection and body count reports where they blamed Obama?

No.

Not at all. It was a relatively quiet ordeal with occasional news segments here and there. With an expert here and there talking about washing your hands and coughing correctly.

DDM, sorry to ask, but what are your findings for believing the mortality rate is below or around 0.1% ?

My findings were .3%-.6% based on models anyone can run.

But other models are showing it to be .1% or less and they are using better data that is more recent.

The error in my modeling is likely due to me using the data from the Cruise Ships: likely to be over-infection and higher rates of illness due to older people being over-represented in Cruise Ships "populations."

Iceland's figures reflect that over half of their population is/was infected but less but had no symptoms.

https://futurism.com/neoscope/half-coronavirus-carriers-no-symptoms

And their mortality rate is at .19%.

http://www.chicagonow.com/dennis-byrnes-barbershop/2020/03/icelands-great-news-about-the-coronavirus-fatality-rate/

And they are trying to triple the number of people tested in Iceland:

https://www.icelandreview.com/news/plenty-of-swabs-for-covid-19-testing/

Iceland is great because the people travel in and out of Iceland by a larger proportion of their population than, say, the US.

But there could be something about Iceland's genetics and population that makes them particularly immune to COVID-19 which is why some experts are cautioning the optimistic results from Iceland.

A shit load of infections not being recognized/reported, mostly due to being asymptomatic. That unknown number ups the number of actual infections while decreasing the concomitant mortality rate.

Did I nail it DDM? Senpai?

Yes, yes you did, Lucian-chan.

demanding incomplete and flawed data to produce false figures and appeal to the stone over it? adorable

Testing 4% of the entire population is considered false figures, flawed data?

lol

How large do you want your sample sizes, bruh?

China excluded those who were asymptomatic or who had mild symptoms from their Wuhan Figures:

https://www.voanews.com/science-health/coronavirus-outbreak/china-officials-exclude-asymptomatic-covid-19-carriers-data

In fact, their suppression of confirmed cases was so strong that the number of confirmed cases, one of their day to day case reports actually subtracted 100 cases based on their "new" case-criteria.

Their mortality rates closely matching the US as it is, currently, who is doing the same thing as Chinese Officials are doing (where 86% of those confirmed tests cases are those presenting to medical facilities with significant COVID-19 symptoms), is good news.

As PVS said, earlier, likely, it has spread very far and infected a large portion of the population, already.
