Pretty grim statistics. Documentaries on the US drug problem cities are on a lot over here (started with Louis Theroux). So many places just seem entirely gripped by it. My home town has one of the highest heroin addiction rates per capita in Europe but even those problems seem to pale into insignificance compared to some US cities.
