Who could survive sundipped Superman punch?

Owen's couch is more durable than Galactus confirmed. Or Beyonder and MM are low street.

Or could it be that Owen didn't want his couch destroyed? Both MM and Beyonder have protected things while blasting or being blasted.

This is like arguing WBH's pants weren't destroyed, so he isn't that powerful......

Hulk's pants is an important part of the character. Unless you think he will be running around naked. All characters have indestructible pants or dresses.

But they never get destroyed. So per logic, the attacks that hit them/that they give off, can't be that powerful.

Funny that, it was established Superman can extend his electro chemical aura to protect objects as large as a mountain. So who's to say he wasn't protecting the JLA?

Lol... agreed. It's sad that people have to dissect things to the point of a character being buttnecked throughout a comic to justify an argument. Lol... Banner pants stretch with him every times he transforms. Does that means Banner waste size is the same as Hulk. Why not mention this instead of Hulk pants surviving a Nuke? Because it's common got darn sense that Marvel isnt going to keep destroying Hulk pants when a young audience is reading the book as well.

So PIS. Gotcha.

So why is it PIS for Marvel, and not PIS for DC? Superman's punch didn't destroy more than a large crater/the JLA standing next to him weren't atomized, and people straightaway jump to 'oh, it obviously wasn't that powerful an attack'.

Strange. Mysterious.

Why are people still claming that Superman destroyed a multiverse? Ultron could survive that crator creating punch.

For those wondering, this is what I am referring to.

WWE has ruined your soft brain for understanding

It was discussed many times before.

MM and Beyonder can focus their blast on single targets, causing no AoE collateral damage.

Same and Roshi and Pre-King Kai Piccolo could (and did) one-shot Earth's moon, but perfectly controlled the collateral damage when on Earth.

so you think dc was going to have Superman murder the JL?

Superman can direct the power of his attacks too.

Like the small moon busting attacks on Black Adam in the middle of a populated city. He was clearly directing the shockwaves away from civilians and property's, like All Might does.

This makes sense.

Esoteric attack shouldnt be treated as a physical attack for the most part.

Soooooo...What about Goku's and Beerus's "universe destroying" punches that literally did no damage to earth, which they were hovering over at the time? There are ENDLESS examples in both anime and comics of collateral damage being inconsistent...which is why it has been ruled on here that you can't really lowball shit by citing collateral damage, due to it being inconsistent for plot reasons. Seriously guys, this has been said multiple times. It keeps rearing it's ugly head every few months, because the people who don't want to accept it think everyone forgot about what happened the last time they went the collateral damage route. They also seem to hope that everyone has just forgot about the ruling on it.

I dont look at collateral damage as an indication of power unless needed. In this case, there is a lot of stuff going on during this showing where an argument can be made.

Exactly, Carver gets it. The numerous statements of a multiverse being his masterpiece from World Forger, the same admitting Superman destroyed his masterpiece, the statement from Snyder that the multiverse was fully formed. Too many things going on to rule out Superman destroying a multiverse, as Carver suggests.

No hell he cannot. That was hyperbole.
