As for restricting force powers, I believed Jman is only talking about the more overt powers like telekinesis rather than stuff like precog or force enhancement. If he meant to restrict those powers as well then this thread is utterly pointless as it is impossible to conclude how capable of a duelist Vader is without relying on those powers.
Being able to see something before it happens does not overtly mean said person is going to be able to prevent it, especially if the being you're fighting is much faster then you, which, Ash is.
His athletic ability through-out the whole movie is pretty superhuman, and his reaction times are insane.
His fight against Evil Ash was actually something more akin to the PT, where people were much faster and way more skilled.
Vader will 100% look slow compared to Ash, and while force enhancement can be used, it definitely does not augment their abilities to the crazy levels we've seen in comics and such, if it even exceeds them above human levels.
I also think ya'll are underestimating how easily Ash can dodge and weave around Vader's lightsaber swings, from the OT by itself, Ash would look like some superhuman cyborg ninja compared to Vader, and while I think precognition will make a difference, all it is doing is prolonging the inevitable.
It also plays into Ash's character, Luke was capable of doing crazy acrobatic shit but for... some reason just stopped the dodging and weaving when Vader came around and swung his saber around wildly like a moron, Ash meanwhile would make great use of his superior athletic ability in battle.
I give it to Ash with the sword, which oddly enough he seems more skilled with then the chainsaw, even if the chainsaw does more damage.
