Regardless of who or where he's from, Cole Young's a pointless character that should've been someone from the games.

Glad to hear what's been said about Joe Taslim though! Makes me that much more anticipative of his Sub-Zero.

The dude that plays Lui Kang is heh to me. From what I’ve seen, he has no screen presence compare to Robin Shou from the first one.

On the topic of Sub-Zero being a badass. His actor Joe Taslim(Li Yong from Warrior) is fast that they had to make him do his moves at a slower speed because the camera couldn't pick them up properly.

I wish a certain two has had a legit one on one but I'm ok with it. Looking forward to seeing it in theatres.

the chosen ones just magically get their powers even though it is never explained in the games how Liu Kang can shoot flames or the freezing powers of Sub Zero. Here the power just awakens in them kinda like it does in Xmen.

They fully explain their powers in the games and expanded lore.

Sub-Zero is descended from a race of Outworld humanoids called "Cryomancers" who all have the inherent power to control ice. It's what their entire martial art is based around.

Liu's powers simply seem to revolve around heat and fire, and his Shaolin training helps him harness and master them. And it seems fire is in his destiny as he becomes a Fire God in the newest game.

So during a cast interview the cast all has high regards for the actors playing Sub and Scorpion. Jax's actor even claims the man who played Sub had to slow down for the camera. Thought that was pretty neat.

Saw a bootleg version i kinda liked it it was far from perfect though...

Cole is not Hanzo's son but a Descendant of him. The dragon mark which grants them their powers passes on if a champion gets killed.

Lets just hope its not like Monster Hunter, that was possible the worst movie I have ever seen

Speaking of Warrior, after all the uncertainty with Cinemax ceasing production of original content, it finally got renewed and moved to HBO Max, which probably means a budget bump up for season 3.
