I also wondered why she didn’t bring up the skirt incident when she brought up the shoulder and hair sniffing thing. Also she openly supported him years later after this incident. I can understand not saying, but not calling him out when he advocated for women’s rights seems odd.
These are valid questions, but again the problem comes with the precedent democrats set for this. Holes in stories are explained as "trauma can be complicated". As is praise for the person. Look at Harvey Weinstein, a woman who accused him of rape also praised him to her parents and willingly had sex with him after the rape. Doubters of her are told "well, sometimes victims behave strangely".
Likewise, Blasey Ford waited decades to say anything. Over the past 10-15 years Kavanaugh rose through the ranks of the judicial system. She said nothing.
Let me be clear: I'm not saying I believe this accuser. I just want to see if the left will abide by their own(admittedly unfair) rules. It seems like the answer is "no".
I will add that while their rank hypocrisy is unfortunate, it IS nice that we can finally set aside this awful set of rules they crafted when it comes to how we handle sexual assault. Yes it is true that these kinds of things tend to only come to end when the left is on the receiving end of it, so there is the hypocrisy for that as well.
But like I said: still nice to see the rules they set up be demolished. The entire country benefits from that.

Well, an investigation does need to happen although I think the case is kinda weak. Besides, hasn’t the damage been done? The accusations themselves should screw him over these days.
The case for Kavanaugh was weak, but they got an investigation anyways. I don't think the damage has been done because most people who were going to vote for him will either believe him or say "it doesn't matter, Trump has been accused by more women".
