I'm not coming down on you, specifically, but I do have a comment about the FBI:

All of the FBI people I have worked with, every single one of them, have been genuinely good and honest people. I don't think we should throw the entirety of the FBI out just because of a few bad apples. They have strict hiring requirements and behavior requirements once hired. I've said multiple time that 9/10 cops are good cops and the 1/10 ruin it for the rest of them. But with the FBI, it's probably closer to 1/400 being bad (or even less than that).

Even among the people that participated in this sedition and corruption attempt, I bet multiple people raised a stink about the unfairness. Some of these things may be classified. That or they insulated the evidence and the people from the case such that only the bad-apples participated. You're not read into cases unless you "need to know."

It was the higher-ups that ran the show and it wasn't just the FBI it was many of our intelligence agencies. I understand that most of the folks are just doing their jobs and not planning and ordering out crazy plans like comey etc.

Can't impeach Obama, though.

True, but this goes beyond that IMO. Not only would it vindicate at least some of what Trump has been saying about the previous admin, but the officials who did this are potentially at risk of being charged with a crime.

Oh yeah, I remember that. The Snopes "no, the Obama administration didn't spy on the Trump campaign."

lol, so many news outlets have to eat crow.

Lol yep. So far this past week or so has not been a good one for democrats and the media. They lied about collusion, they tried to f*ck over Flynn. All of this was exposed around the same time.

The entire Russia collusion act is something that will be ignored now by Democrats and most of the media outlets hoping it will fall away and the folks that banked on Russia gate won't speak up about how terrible it was because they don't want to admit how wrong they were and how bad Obama and the intel commuinity were to our democratic process.

They'll hide tails tucked between their legs until they can find something else to rage over.

I just find it funny how quickly this all unraveled. I do think they will try to ignore these developments which is why Republicans need to make sure they aren't allowed to do that.

One advantage is the medias own TDS. If Trump rants about this in a tweet storm they will not be able to stop themselves from reporting on it. Which makes it harder for them to ignore.

Michael Flynn: judge pauses justice department effort to dismiss case

The judges hypocrisy aside, this is already over. Flynn will either get the charges dropped or Trump will pardon him.

Unfortunately either way the damage has already been done to Flynn.

Only silver lining is it exposed the corruption of some at the FBI.

Everything I said in that post was correct. The judge is a hypocrite, the damage is done to Flynn no matter what happens, and this did expose corruption by some at the FBI.

One must wonder, if there's just one "deep state!" or are their multiple deep states or one deep state with varying levels of deepness.
