The murder of Ahmaud Arbery/All three perpetrators found guilty

The Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence might as well both be written in stone because they are unchangeable... FOREVER. PERIOD.

I always get a good laugh when liberals and/or "progressives" arrogantly act like they are smarter or wiser than our founding fathers lmao.

Any single one of them would be infintely smarter and wiser than all the lefties here put together and that's a fact. 👆 👆

The Bill of Rights is itself a change to the Constitution, retard.

Absolutely the constitution is 100% unchanging.

Well...except for that time in 1795, 1804, 1865, 1868, 1870, 1913, 1919, 1920, 1933, 1951, 1961, 1964, 1967, 1971 and 1992.

Sorry, but the Bill of Rights portion of Constitution (which is, by far, the most important part) does not change with the times based on how snowflake libbies feel about them at the time.

They are inalienable rights that are immutable. Get over it, commies.

Bill of Rights is a change to the Constitution. That's the entire point of this thread you dimwit.

The second amendment is an addition to the original constitution by retard leftists who thought every white man should own a gun, regardless of whether they own land or slaves.

Stupid retard lefties changing the constitution.

As George Carlin said

''You are given temporary privileges, not rights. Rights aren't rights if someone can take em away. They're privileges. That's all we've ever had in this country is a bill of TEMPORARY privileges; and if you read the news, even badly, you know the list get's shorter, and shorter, and shorter.

"If god gave you rights, he'd give you a right to have food every day, some shelter, and some fun. God would've been looking out for ya." - George Carlin

Just proved George didn't understand the concept of a right.

Living document to loony lefties maybe.

To the rest of us good citizens it is our only hope from tyranny.

Our individual liberties listed in the Bill of Rights are inalienable. They can never be taken away. They are inherent They can never be taken away by ANYONE. They can only be infringed upon or violated.

The only way they could ever be legally removed is by a two-thirds majority vote from the states and that will never happen.

As important as those rights are, the 3 biggest rights of all are listed in the Declaration of Independence. They are the right to life (and abortion clearly viates this most basic of all rights), liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (which originally was meant to be the right to own private property, which people still legally have).

There is no way that the big 3 could ever be legally changed.

Yup. True rights only come from God, not the government, any document, or any group of people. The Bill of Rights isn't a list of things the government grants people. It's a list of things they can never legally take away from you.

And the document itself doesn't grant you those rights, God does The Bill of Rights just recognize rights you have already been granted (by God, Himself).

The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, amendments can by definition be amended.

This is basic school level US History…

The Bill of Rights are Amendments to the Constitution. There are Amendments changing other Amendments. Your point is invalid.

The defense is spinning a story that the McMichaels (who had guns) just wanted to peacefully talk to Arbery and Arbery became very aggressive. 😂

You must have missed the lesson about rights.

They aren't things government grants people. They're restraints on government acting against the people.

I bet you consider health care a "right". Ridiculous! That isn't right.

Nor is happiness, or a job, or a good community, or a good outcome. None of those things are "rights".

You have a right to exist, and to exist free of harm, or subjugation. You have a right to not be sent to a government prison and tortured with enhanced interrogation techniques.

Here's a hint: If it comes in the form of a gift, it is not a right. Rights are never, ever, things anyone can give you.

They can only try and take them away by use of unjust force.
