It was NOT superman. The book was about Gladiator fighting someone that's his equal or greater. It was Supreme. Get it now?? Not Superman. He got DISMISSED. Not worth Gladiators time. Read the book.
Originally posted by DarkSaint85Image has already established that Supreme is more powerful than Superman. That's why the writer of that book stated that. DC backed down from letting Superman fight Supreme because they didn't want their flagship character to lose. Image then got with marvel and marvel responded with Gladiator. Now since DC was scared, image and marvel taunted DC by bringing up Superman and making it clear that the fighter that was equal to or greater than gladiator was NOT Superman, it was supreme and he and Gladiator stalemated. DC had no answer. They chickened out because Supreme was going to beat Superman and DC didn't want that.
I don't think JBL will reply, tbh. He's too busy with the others.
It's very simple really. It was a being equal to or greater than gladiator that attacked that base. Two characters came up. Superman or Supreme. It was made clear that it was Supreme, the one already established to be more powerful than Superman. I didn't make that statement, I didn't write that book, I didn't state that supreme was more powerful than Superman, I didn't state that no man of steel can beat Supreme. Image did all of that. But I'm the liar???

Originally posted by DiesldudeThe book started off by a base being attacked by a lone attacker that was equal to or greater than gladiator. Follow the subject. So the subject was an attacker greater or equal to Gladiator. Now we have to find out who that attacker was. Now we need an answer to who is greater or equal to Gladiator. It came down to two beings. Superman or Supreme. The answer was Supreme as we found out in the end. That was image and Marvels way of making it clear that Superman was not equal to or greater than any of the combatants in that book. That's why they brought up Superman as a direct shot at DC for backing out.
Where did image say off of that? Not in that scan.
If you Superman fans would take your noses out of Superman's rear, you will understand why Superman was brought up at all in that book. They didn't need Superman to make that story. DC had already chickened out.the only reason they brought up Superman was to poke at DC for having the weaker character of the three. Don't get mad at me. I didn't do it. Go cry to DC for running, and cuss Marvel and image out for doing it.

Originally posted by DiesldudeSuperman was being ridiculed in that book because DC was scared to let Superman fight Supreme because Superman would have lost. That's why DC ran from Supreme. Marvel wasn't scared. They sent Gladiator. So of course Marvel and image would bring up Superman and then dismiss him. He's not Gladiator equal and damn sure is not Supreme equal or greater. Superman was brought up in that story as a joke character to Supreme and Gladiator.
Read what you typed, they have 2 beings that were greater or equal to gladiator, not less. So it doesn't matter who gladiator picked, He obviously is afraid of Superman and picked supreme instead. He fears superman. Per your scan and your son's inside info. No denying things now.
