Supreme and Gladiator vs. Superman

First it was because the supreme writer said somethng, then image said so in the comic and now DC? Damn dude when are you going to stop stumbling and admit Gladiator chose to face supreme because he fears Superman. Gladiator chickened out from a confrontation. If DC chose not to put superman in this fight, it was because they know gladiator is an insect and doesn't belong in the same comic with superman.
DC chickened out of letting Superman fight Supreme. Superman would have lost. But certain Superman fans call people liars because they don't want anyone better than Superman. It's simple. Out of Superman and Supreme ONE of them was equal to or greater than gladiator. It turned out to be Supreme who Gladiator stalemated. Superman DID NOT fit the bill. Really simple to understand.

Yeah, sadly.

It's bad enough using a book that can't even be used, written by a company that wasn't DC, but on top of that the lying... that's just bad form.

Is there anything that can be done?

14 pages and so little legit discussion.

Yup.

The famous recent one:

Ultraman and Superwoman:

....

Thanks.

Yeah, I already mentioned the Ultraman/Superwoman showing, but didn't post the scans.

You then also have the 'fodder' type scans, like those robots and the imperfect DD clones (so multiple brick types):

Yeah, I remember. But as you said, those are fodder.

I'm sure there are other examples.

How about this:

Superman (who apparently was blind at the time, someone needs to confirm) vs. Eradicator, Cyborg Superman and Zod.

Plus there's Mongul and Bizarro and Public Enemies.

He fought Mongul and Bizarro at the same time? When?

Wouldn't count Public Enemies, as most heroes jobbed to Clark as a part of their plan.

It was NOT superman. The book was about Gladiator fighting someone that's his equal or greater. It was Supreme. Get it now?? Not Superman. He got DISMISSED. Not worth Gladiators time. Read the book.
A story with Gladiator and Supreme has zero bearing on Superman. Superman has more impressive feats, combat or otherwise, by a wide margin over both characters.

Suggesting Superman wasn't there because they were scared he would lose is just absolute nonsense.

Not quite the same time, due to him using his speed.

Not sure if this works for you due to photobucket.

As for the Public Enemies, I was referring to when Cap Atom/Major Force/Powergirl etc went in.

Links work 👆

So yeah, only a fake fan like Pr would instantly close the thread for having Clark being outnumbered 2 to 1.

Power Girl (and a few others) was working for the good guys, as revealed shortly afterwards.

Plus, Supes had the Batgod on his side.

Go read the comic and follow the subject. Don't do like other Superman fans and read half a page and then come running their mouth. Do like my lawyer step-mom say. " Get all the facts before opening your mouth".

The comic wasnt written by DC

Unless I'm remembering wrong, it was only Power Girl and Katana that were on their side. When was it revealed? I haven't read Public Enemies in a long time, so if I missed something feel free to correct me.

After the fight.

But some of Atom's team did try their best, of course.

Atom - even though he felt conflicted about it - wanted to follow orders.

Force - was batshit crazy and following Luthor suited him just fine.

Starfire - was lied to and wanted to exact her revenge on Superman.

Oh, after the fight. Yeah, a bunch of them switched over after, but still tried during the actual fight. Am I understanding you right?

No.

What Power Girl is saying here is that real heroes weren't retarded enough to blindly follow Luthor, they just pretended to follow the orders.

He honestly believes that just because he's president we'd just blindly follow his orders.

Neither Stewart nor Pierce even tried attacking Supes and Bats ----- so no surprise PG is saying they can be trusted out of that group.

Stop being so hungry for feats, man.

Atom, Force (especially Force) and Starfire --- those three we can be sure about, that they weren't pulling their punches.

Image contacted DC and wanted to do a cross-over battle putting Superman against Supreme. Power-set against power-set. Feats ment nothing because both company's let the hero win to impress fans and sell books. Not fan voted like on KMC or any other site. Skill vs skill etc. It was determined that Supreme would beat Superman by both company's. DC for the sake of not wanting their flagship hero to lose backed out. Image contacted Marvel and Marvel responded with Gladiator. Same challenge. Even fight was determined. That's why the writer of that book said that Supreme was more powerful than Superman. And in that book they brought up Superman because DC chickened out because they knew Superman would have lost.

Their battle threatens worlds? Has Superman been in such a battle? Not saying he hasn't but just asking.
