So 2 on 1 should not be a guaranteed victory.

I think Supreme would do a lot better then gladiator here TBH.

Image made it clear that no MAN OF STEEL will beat Supreme, DC refused to do a cross-over putting Superman against supreme. Marvel agreed to use Gladiator. Stalemated. Superman stands no chance in hell here. One on one they are too much for Superman, together they Stomp him laughing.
