I'll download and watch out of curiosity, but I don't expect much of anything.

I was excited at the idea of this coming out just out of curiosity, but the more they talk about what's going to be in it, the lamer and more worse it sounds

i'd honestly not rather have MM or darkseid in the movie at all if all we get is some tiny cameo

Apparently the lieutenant guy from MoS and BvS was the Martian Manhunter all along, who didn't directly help against Zod or Doomsday because deep deep undercover.

Even pirating this kinda feels like it's giving it too much credit.

If ever something encapsulated the expression "throwing shit at a wall and hoping something sticks" this would be it.

The movie needs less in it, not more.

Getting rid of Cyborg would've been a start. Or at the very least recasting him with someone who isn't a talentless plank of wood.

Well that's the real fear, isn't it. If this movie does well, they might think they were wrong before, and that he should be the man to rebuild the DCEU. It's not as much of a long shot as I think some people might think it is either.

His cut of Justice League is likely to be a more cohesive, less messy product. And, if I heard right, it's going to come out in four one-hour pieces. That means he doesn't need to rush a damn thing.

And of course, the big thing that concerns me, is that the minute he got that cheque, if he hadn't already, the first thing I could have imagined him doing was going on to Google and searching "ten worst things about Justice League" and deciding to erase or change them. All he has to do is reconcile it with his own slanted viewpoint of what a "grown-up" superhero film is.

Then when it comes out, and if it does well, he can tell us all how this is the movie he always intended to make in a nice bit of revisionist history.

I think he'd have to completely knock it out of the park for the studio to send him an offer, and honestly, he'd have to shoot most of the movie over for that to be a possibility. I really don't think there's a hidden gem of unseen footage in the unused reels.

Now it could be better than the Synder/Whedon film as this will be purely his vision. But a great film? Nah.
