I've watched the director's cut. It's pretty good imo.
Finished. I liked how
Spoiler:.
Flash saved the day by reversing time, in a bit of call back to Superman the movie
The Epilogue was pretty pointless, but I get that literally was the movie he was making, as he was initially hired to make JL parts 1 and 2.
What da fuk was
Spoiler:doing this whole time ?!
MMH
Its an improved film, gave Cyborg and Flash some much needed character development. Im glad they took the bit out about Flash being too scared to do anything.
And Lmao, the saving civilians bit in the end is missing which means it must have been forced on by WB.
Anyway an improvement but still no masterpiece. Both BvS and JL directors cut still have Batman trying to murder Supes for no reason, and still does the whole Death and Revival of Superman way too soon.
Spoiler:was also coming way too soon.
Darkseid
And remember JL had the smallest opening weekend at the box office of any DCEU film (at the time), so it didnt fail solely due to the quality, so I doubt this edgier and longer version would have reversed that failure.
But its an improved version, and im glad Snyder can move on from the stench of DC he had hanging on him.
