Do you believe it's possible for a writer to have come up with ways for Superman to have saved more people's lives?
I think it was made clear enough Kal was helping humans, not killing them.

Of course.
That's all you needed to say.
And no, it wouldn't need to suck if it had Supes saving lives in it.

And like 6am here. Excuses, excuses.
That was no trick question or anything from Silent. Pretty straightforward. And no, again, quality of the film wouldn't have suffered if it had tried to stay more true to comics.
PS. You can't wank Thor and Supes both, you need to pick one.

So, you're claiming that the only way to have Superman save more lives would be to make a bad movie?
Like I already said, I think his intentions were made sufficiently clear. But you wanted to go around in this weird circle to come back to my original answer.
Now my question for you, when Thor and Hulk were bashing that Leviathan in together and it crashed into a building, was an interruption scene necessary in the middle of that to show that Thor and Hulk made sure the building was empty first?
And was it important after Hulk sucker pushed Thor to have Thor cry out of guilt for smashing into a building which may have had civilians in it?

Yeah except it was a dumb question.
And the same shit happened in Avengers 1&2. Which SM has utterly failed in addressing why that doesnt bother him.
Heck SM doesnt seem to care a fraction as much about real life collateral damage by the US Army, which is consistent, repetitive and needless. Yet civilians in Metropolis are like family to him.

No it really was a completely irrelevant question.
Its his usual tactic to ask troll questions instead of actually having a debate which he knows he cant win.
Supes isnt even my top DC character. You guys just seem really insecure around him, which is why youre going wayyy overboard over petty points in your critical analysis.

Was that a yes?

Which is more than nothing. Even if we ignore the leaks, the simple fact is we have no clue how Superman's turn would play out other than that Lois's death is involved in someway.
Spoiler:
Darkseid touching Superman's shoulder as the latter is seen mourning over Lois' body.
Then again you can argue it could be a fake out but there's nothing pointing to that anywhere in this film or BvS. So yeah, we can agree to disagree on using rumors to try and defend Snyder on his known struggle with characterization in these movies.
I'm glad we agree that the writer could have easily crafted a good story where Superman cared enough to make a real effort to save more of the thousands of people that died as a direct result of his fight. I for one, like this somewhat anti-heroish version of Superman.
I don't see why people get so upset about it.
So, according to Snyder, Superman wore the black suit to honor Krypton and reflect inward.....which makes no sense from a character standpoint since it's his connection to EARTH that saved him. Not to mention the only time we see him in the Black Suit before was when Zod showed him a vision of Earth in ruins and Clark being buried under a mountain of skulls. 🥴

Why do you love trolling so much ?
You realise it only makes it seem as though you cant debate right ?
