Regarding Steppenwolf when the Snyder cut fans lost their shit when they seen his version of the character for this cut of the movie. I prefer the original look that we got personally, It just needed more work on the CG to make it look better and it looked more like how he does in the comics too.

At least Superman won't have that awful upper lip this time.

The trailer is just bad. Darkseid looks bad. And I don't care enough about if all we see is Darkseid in some flashback. Unless he's shown fighting the Justice League it's not even worth it.

You have to give DC some credit, though. They were smart enough to put this trailer out at a time when then geekdom is starved for new content with this quarantine. Anything will seem good to a lot of people, so they see this trailer and gush about it. It's still the same mediocre slow-motion Snyder "look at how artsy I am" trash that all his movies are. It may have worked the first time, man... it's time for the story to make the film work.

Speaking of smart, I read they originally planned to let people watch the new animated Superman movie online for free during the DC Fandome thing lol.
