Joe Biden has at least three plus a lot of young girl touching and none of it is going to drop you for voting from him.

You have no moral high ground on who you are voting for. It’s actually worse if you vote

You should just not vote. Then you could possibly have the high ground.

Despite the reason you're stating this, this is actually a good point taken in isolation.

I don't know how we can avoid electing either of the two. The only viable ticket I see is Bernie-Yang. Everyone else is garbage.

So I guess all you white people have no problem with Biden saying something so racist and offensive to Blacks?

****! You assholes are really condescending pricks.

It must suck being used as a object in elections by Democrats where they say all the things they think they must say to win black votes (in very condescending "black-accents", too)...and then they completely forget about you when they are in office.

Any of them could choose to vote for a third party.

Robtard voted for Jill Stein in 2016, iirc. He walks the talk.

voted for her in the primary or general or both?

No idea. But he said he voted for Jill when we talked about it. I voted for Gary. And I will vote 3rd party this fall, again.

and that’s why I don’t vote.

Biden and Trump are both garbage as human beings. There is no one that has a realistic chance of winning that i wouldn't feel scummy voting for.

Part of me wishes we could get the Half of Onion in a Bag that Chris Evans tweeted about on the ballot so i could vote and at least not feel like i voted for a monster.

Perhaps, but when discussing the shit democrats do I don't see how what Trump does matters here. Joe Biden essentially said black people can't think for themselves. Whenever there is something they know they can't really defend they deflect to Trump. What will they do if Trump loses in 2020? Who will they then use as an excuse for their behavior? Cuz this insanity that has been unleashed cuz of Trump? I don't think it's a thing those with TDS will just be able to shut off once he's out of office.

And here is the thing about the claim of a joke: the problem is they truly believe this lol. Democrats think this way. Joe Biden shouldn't have said the quiet part out loud, but he didn't say anything most of them don't already feel. The soft racism of low expectations.

And it seems they do take black people for granted, my question is...are they right? I don't mean morally right, but if this group of people have shown that most of them will vote democrat no matter what...no matter how shitty their neighborhoods get, etc. then why should they put in any more effort than acting like they care every 4 years or so?

Be fair to Biden: that's a commonly held democratic belief. They need whitey-Dems to coddle them because the black people are so dumb and such savages that they need the Democrats condescending love and care to barely survive. Meanwhile, in reality, it's just a race to virtue signal who is the most woke while they ignore actual black issues. It's just packaging up racism in a nice, silk, SJW wrapper.

Based on voting trends, yes, they can take black people for granted as black people show up at the boothes in overwhelming numbers to vote for racis...I mean Democratic candidates.

However, we have recent evidence that black voters are not so hip with the blind-Dem voting. I hope to see more of this from both Black voters and Latino voters. I'd like to see more than just GOP and Dems in office, however. Far more of not D or R.

Well yes I did say this too:

"And here is the thing about the claim of a joke: the problem is they truly believe this lol. Democrats think this way. Joe Biden shouldn't have said the quiet part out loud, but he didn't say anything most of them don't already feel. The soft racism of low expectations. "

So yeah it's not just Joe.

You being half black im sure helps you reach this conclusion

I'm half black and it's all in the pants, baby.

I think black voters voting for the Democratic party, even though there are definitely a lot of elements of it that look down on them and take them for granted is nonetheless based on a rational approach by these voters. Calculating that while the Democrats are not great, Republican policies are even more opposed to their interests. Republicans would of course disagree, but at the very least there is a strong argument to be made that that is the case, and it seems to be generally believed by these voters.

It mirrors the argument establishment Democrats are posing to Sanders voters and leftists "Vote for our candidate or be treated worse by the only other viable alternative". Of course this is contentious, and there's a lot of valid arguments surrounding these propositions, but I don't blame anyone who agrees and says "yes, I hate this, but I have to do it".

They don't have to do anything, it's a choice.

That opens an interesting discussion into how far "choices" are free.

Of course choices reside in a framework, an the way we use the word "have to", means that some sort of defined threshold of influence is reached that compels the person (in their mind) to choose one specific option. An informative example is perhaps a robber pointing a gun at you and saying "Give me your money, or I will shoot you". This leaves you with choices, for sure, but to many people it is apparent that at that point one choice is the one the "have to" choose. Many outside observers would then also say "they had to do it" even though technically they had a choice. It's a philosophical constant "you can always choose death" (barring some elaborate machinations that might prevent you from it). I could go more into it, it may make for an interesting discussion if you are interested to expand on it together.

I think it's irrelevant though, since what I was talking about is a feeling of having to do it, which then leads to choosing to do it, it was not a statement about whether they actually have to do it.

That feeling of having to do it is just an excuse they manufactured to justify their choice.
