JL keeps the most consistently "elite" group.

Agreed. If we go by peak, JLD is the most powerful. They have like 4 members who are cosmic level.

My order in the DCU:

1. Justice league dark
2. JLA
3. JSA
4. Legion
5. Avengers

So, Avengers barely made it to the top 5.

Freedom Fighters at their peak (last few series) might be even more powerful than the Avengers. They dont have many weaknesses if at all.

the top 4 is correct
though JSA's most powerful members may be above JLA and JLD

remember, spectre and classic fate was in there at some point, also sentinal alan, obsidian, shade etc

my list would be

1. Legion
2. JSA
3. JLD
4. JLA
5. Authority

that's of course not counting various lantern corps

Don’t forget units such as JL 1 Million and the Superman Corps.

But what about the Beyonder? I mean since people decided to bring Celestial level members into the mix.

Hi Stoic - please give more information on the Beyonder being a member of the Avengers. I don’t remember him ever being a member, and since you said OG B that means it’s the classic version and I should thus have come across it.

Please provide context, because all I have read has been him being an adversary and never an actual member.

Context would be important, and IF the Beyonder was a real member of the Avengers - in the same way, say, Jakeem Thunder and his 5D imp are a member of the JSA - then that really adds juice.

But it would be good to provide context. At the very least it would prevent some of the trolls on the forum from quoting ‘but the Avengers have the Beyonder in their team’ for the next five years if that is not the case.

Thanks

He was never really an Avenger though.

Just the B team New Avengers. Shang is the one on the real Avengers team.

He is a Defender though. That is, after being a Hero For Hire

And an Imp has been apart of the Superman Corps.
