any relevant info on epstein would be given to the fbi or federal prosecutor and not the victims' lawyers, correct? why would he give relevant witness testimony to a defense lawyer?

And can you acknowledge a GOOD lawyer would have tried to get a hold of Bill too? I'm giving you wiggle room to say that while also saying we don't know if Bill was contacted despite the high probability he was.

i'm not spinning it. if trump was helping with info then he was likely referred to the fbi or prosecutor by that defense lawyer.
defense lawyers are not the ones who take down witness testimony, it's given directly to the authorities by the witness.
why would he offer to help if he was just epstein's drinking buddy?
like if a coworker of mine turned out to be a human trafficker, and they never dropped any helpful clues in any conversation, i would not reach out to the victims' defense lawyer; simply because i wouldn't want to waste their time just to say "yeah i knew the guy...he worked in the office across from me...we talked briefly about star wars...that's about it. glad i could help"
