That does hold some merit, they have tried to set up these zones in other places here.

Funny thing, the mayor of Portland lol nope'd one, but only cuz it was by his house

I'm sure the oregano and orchids they have planted can sustain them throughout the winter.

The people in the general idea did not ask for this, it was forced on them... letting them suffer for these wannabe-revolutionaries' naive ideological experiment is unethical imo.

Also, you know what MSM is like with its anti-American propaganda; they've already painted this place as a paradise, and they'll continue to do that even if it fully collapses. Keeping it active only serves to give more wannabe revolutionaries ideas.

It needs to be shut down on practical and ethical grounds.

Sure they did, when they didn't do anything to stop it. they can always leave.

They can just 'leave'? So force innocent people out of their homes, all because you want to watch a social experiment crumble? That makes you party to their experiment.

We don't need to prove communism doesn't work, we already know that. These kinds of coups need to be dealt with.

It's like a really tame version of the purge, where they can't even grow herbs properly

I didn't say anything about forcing them to leave, I said they can choose to leave if they no longer agree with what they allowed to happen.

The people and the mayor allowed it to happen, they even supported it. I'm willing to see where their policies go. it's very educational.

Well if that's how you see it then fair enough, I disagree vehemently, and I don't think innocent people should be made to suffer for the crime of 'not doing anything' when some of those people are children, disabled people, families in general.

I tend to like, care about innocent lives though, so yeah... not on board with letting an unchecked anarcho-communist social experiment just 'happen' to prove a political point.

Take it up with mayor and other leaders/people that allowed it to happen and even supported it.

Then I say the cops go in there and clear them out and anyone who resists puts their fate in whatever god they believe in

i hope it's a powerful god, not some little b*tch I'm talking Mystra level

I think everyone in the local government that allowed it to happen and/or offered support should be charged as their actions lead to multiple crimes. that makes them accessories before and after the fact.

Looks like it's a moot point now

The mayor should at least. Is treason a thing in the US?

Treason is a thing, yes. However I doubt the mayor's actions would meet the requirements, if for no other reason these occupiers( terrorists) were never officially labeled enemies of the US.

Yeah, but then we have this:

CHOP protesters refuse to let city workers clear out parts of protest zone

Oh shit, this is the type of stuff that turns trolls into kings.

Steven Crowder team books stay at CHAZ 'warlord' Raz Simone's Airbnb and graffitis the walls in 'CHAZ tribute'

Guy even tried to act tough, but it failed.

After that Raz's response, which is typical of these pussies, was:

Typical.

And Crowder and his pals know the law very well. They would not get backed into a corner on legal technicalities.

Lol so the city tried to remove barricades and stuff and protesters said no.

So the city just said "meh, be back in 3 days".

The city is going to get its ass sued off for not protecting property owners in the area taken by chaz.
