Apologies for the Daily Mail article, but the facts are correct.
CHOP security literally murdered am unarmed 16-year-old black boy joyriding a jeep. The 'head of security' pistol whipped him repeatedly and then executed him.

Police Chief Carmen Best on the current situation:
'Enough is enough,' Best said. 'We need to be able to get back into the area.'
'Two African American men dead at a place where they claim to be working for Black Lives Matter. But they're gone, they're dead now and we've had multiple other incidents - assaults, rape, robbery, shootings - and so this is something that's going to need to change..
'We're asking that people remove themselves from this area for the safety of the people, if they care about people, they're going to have to try to help us to make it safe,' Best added. 'There are people who live here, there are multiple people being injured and hurt, and we need to do something about it. Is it absolutely irresponsible for this to continue.'

The worst part about this is that it could be done by any bad faith actors looking to capitalize on the anarchy. It could be an alr right group doing this to sabotage or perhaps another leftist anarcho group looking to gain control etc etc
The zone needs to be cleared out, it's now just a disservice to a fleeting uprising.

The Seattle Police Department responded to multiple reports of shots fired at about 3 a.m. near 12th Avenue and Pike Street. Police said callers had reported several unidentified people had fired shots into a white Jeep that had been at or near one of the barriers of the zone.
Also bad faith actors don't have to be alt right they could be individuals in that are part of chop just looking to take control or send a mssg, I don't know their intent.
If it's the head of chop all the more reason to close it down, the mayor has really made a mess of their city.

The masks are slipping. They supported these things as long as it wasn't in any close proximity to them or their homes.
Reminds me of lefties in California virtue signaling about helping people in need but then crying if the city they live in wants to put up some public housing or something in their neighborhoods.
