That's up to your local tag agency and their hours.* You can renew it online, 24/7. I just did mine at 1 AM on an early Sunday morning.
*You do understand that they are businesses, right? They choose to be closed.

Because the post office is observing a national holiday. Not sure the US or anyone else except racists are interested in making everyone take off of work to celebrate slavery. I'm sure you agree.
If you don't like that you can't go to the post office on a certain day, you have 4 options:
1. Don't use USPS and use any other service with online services.
2. Use online services with USPS.
3. Schedule pick-up with USPS...using...online services.
4. Get a law passed if you want to be able to use the mail services on days you want the mail services to operate and accept walk-ins.

Why are is it ok to have special govt days for religious and other groups but not for races?
We have no religious holidays from a government perspective. Christmas Day is not a Christian holiday from a federal holiday perspective. 🙂
Did you know it is a secular holiday? Atheists are allowed to celebrate it and can follow the pagan-origin traditions, too.
It sounds like your argument is that Trump should select a different day to campaign (out of the hundreds he has and will campaign on) because it is on a day that is not a federal holiday. That's non sequitur and I don't get your point at all.

This is correct, but they won't see it. They just want any excuse to cry about trump.
The best part is they know that not a single person crying this was racist would care if he held a rally on Christmas. Now if it was a Muslim holiday? They'd care.

The dmv is a business? I thought it was a government agency.
Sry but i dont buy into the secular argument. The basis some have been ruled as such are basically a joke.
"In early April 1996, George Neack, the Deputy Judge Executive of Kenton County, acting without the knowledge or authorization of any defendant, made signs bearing an image of the Crucifixion and announcing that the building would be closed “for observance of Good Friday,” April 5, 1996.   Neack had the signs posted at the entrances to the Courthouse."
"The Courthouse was open on April 5, 1996, although the courts and most offices were not.   Defendants now refer to the Friday before Easter as Spring Holiday on their calendars and closing orders.
The district court found that “[a]lthough the closing is to be observed on Good Friday, the day on which Christians remember Jesus' crucifixion, there is no evidence that the court and office closings are otherwise related to the Christian holiday.”   The court also found that the holiday is a secular event.   Many Kentucky families begin a vacation that day;  the court found that according to state traffic statistics, Good Friday had the third-largest daily traffic volume on Kentucky highways in 1995."
"The court's February 27, 1997 injunction prohibits Defendants from posting signs that depict the Crucifixion or state that the closing is in observance of Good Friday.   Its February 27, 1997 judgment permits Defendants to continue closing their offices on the Friday before Easter "
How can anyone not see this as a joke.
The district court found that “[a]lthough the closing is to be observed on Good Friday, the day on which Christians remember Jesus' crucifixion, there is no evidence that the court and office closings are otherwise related to the Christian holiday.”
Really? Do they mean no evidence besides this
"made signs bearing an image of the Crucifixion and announcing that the building would be closed “for observance of Good Friday,” April 5, 1996."
But wait its a big travel weekend so its secular.
Why is it a big travel weekend?
Probably because for as long as anyone can remember, in a state thats mostly christian, they have had a 3 day weekend for good friday. Lol
I guess its reasonable for someone to get arrested on Thursday, where they would normally be arraigned on friday, to have to spend 3 extra days in a holding cell so a bunch of christians (whoops i mean citizens), can have a 3 day weekend for good friday (whoops i mean spring holiday).

Yep, that is his "argument".

This is true. Plus it would be an acknowledgement that social distancing guidelines were bullshit.
So I hope they show up and undermine every argument they've been making the past 2-3 months.

You need to decide if they are on a personal level cos you keep coming off as a fool and a lot of people see it. Cos it seems it was all bullshit, the covid precautions, until people started rage-protesting police injustice and institutional racism.
