Yeah, all that crime and dookie on the street and social unrest is sure showing Repubs.

We don't have nearly as much crime and unrest as Republicans love to tell themselves. I'm originally from Central Indiana, and felt much less safe there.

Took care of the migrants you mean. They have been treated exceptionally. Libs are making desantis look like a selfish fool on this issue.

The narrative the Right news is pushing is that those bused in immigrants where treated poorly and caged once they stepped off the bus. So that's what the Rightist mouthbreathers spew out.

edit: The optics of this is horrible for the Right, they're treating people worse than animals.

8.3% inflation, thank you Joe Biden.

Biden's Approval Hits 11-Month High as Trump's Falls to One of His Lowest

After a troubling year in the polls, President Joe Biden's approval rating is finally on an upswing, reaching an 11-month high just seven weeks before the midterm elections. At the same time, former President Donald Trump, who had held onto a favorable rating since leaving office, is seeing one of his lowest post-presidency marks. -snip

How does the Right keep getting outmanuevered by a guy with dementia, who is still busy trying to clean up the disaster the Trump admin left the country in 😆

Day 608 and Biden is at a 42.3% approval (aggregate), this is with walking into a complete shitshow in 2021, having a hurt economy and high inflation.

Day 608 and Trump was at 40.5%, yet he was handed a great economy by the Obama admin.

non-butthurt non-cultist hot take on biden:

really stupid move to declare the pandemic "over". would have still annoyed me a lot if he said it was "ending". the only one who called it mostly right was fauci when he said long ago "we're all going to catch it eventually" [paraphrase]. mostly right because i don't think the evidence was there that some people seem have t-cells which make short work of covid.

oh joe ...people won't get booster shots if it's over. thanks for the positive moves you made, but this day you had a momentary slip and acted like a dumbcunt. be better, biden

Thankfully Chicago, New York City, or California do not represent the majority culture. Polls prove Joe Biden's numbers are in the tank. Trump has a real chance of winning 2024, hence the desperate attempt to send him to jail by any means necessary.

You called it and it took less than 20 mins. Nice 👆

Reality: Where Trump did really well was the age 65+ group, especially the 79+ group, which also happens to be the group most quickly dying of old age and sickness. There's going to be a sizeable amount of those people who voted in 2020, who will be dead by 2024. Though that won't stop some of them them from magically voting Republican, as we've seen.

For Trump to win in 2024, there would have to be a sizeable restructure of what 2020 voters did and there would have to be a drop in voter turnout, as higher turnout favors Democrats and Republicans know this, neither are likely

There was a poll I saw last week that said if Trump and Biden both run, because of how unpopular both men are, that something like 60% of voters said they would seriously consider a third party candidate.

When push comes to shove, i think most will just hold their nose and vote for whoever they see as the lesser of two evils, but it would be interesting if that were to be true.

Well, there are a lot of low information voters.

Trump's achievements are indisputable. He was good for the economy, good for minorities, good for everyone.

i must still have celebrity-loss ptsd from 2020 because whenever i scroll down the news pages and see a random celebrity i instantly suspect they're dead. good news, lavar burton is still alive and he's fighting the good fight against book burning fascist "family values" low wattage types

Levar Burton.

Trump’s fiscal policy was also highly inflationary as he ran record deficits long before covid. His tax cuts and failure to cut government spending led to greater government borrowing, which the Fed was forced to monetize. Trump was on pace, well before the 2020 lockdowns, to spend more money in four years than Obama spent in his two terms. By 2019, the deficit had grown to $1 trillion dollars, up $205 billion, 26 percent from 2018 -snip

Trump did help the already filthy rich, the wealth gap had a nice spread under Trump: New IRS data show the wealthy grew even richer in the Trump years while the rest of us fell back.

I'd say that's disputable.
