America is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic. So even when a president legitimately wins an election, the congress can take it away and give it to the other guy.
It's a bit odd that when the government did that to Jackson he started the democratic party and reshaped politics in the US. For what it's worth, this was one of Jackson's greatest achievements. Trump, obviously admired Jackson for other reasons. ermm
I've got to;
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/28/health/monkeypox-renamed-mpox
Ok, I understand why they'd do this, and the connotations of the term, but still have questions. Like;
1. Has there actually been a rash of incidents?
2. If not, how did the idea to change the name even come up?
3. If the name itself is the issue because of "potential" racism, wouldn't that logic extend to the creature itself? Will we rename it then?
It's kind of funny how athiests are on the same ideological side as devout Muslims.
Like, do they understand that they don't respect any religion including their own? If Abrahamic religion disappeared completely, what do they think would happen?
Or do they realise this, and is the alliance one of convenience against a common enemy? Are atheists the short sighted ones here, who have no idea their allies will become enemies?
So, mass uprisings.
What happens in a system where tyrants simply defend themselves in fortresses with highly paid professional soldiers/mercenaries, and let the common man burn it all down where they live, and then force them to live in the ashes?
I mean, these days no one even needs a nations population, you can outsource literally everything.
What prevents such a scenario in western powers?

You mean because we both tend to be against bombing the crud out of muslim majority countries and oppressing minorities?
Aside from that there's massive ideological differences, Gender Identity being an obvious one in today's time. As you'll notice a lot of lefty atheists are complaining like mad about the World Cup being in Qatar due to it's attitude towards the LGBTQ community. And that attitude is rooted in it's religous beliefs.
Not that all atheists have the same views, but I assume you specifically mean very left leaning atheists.
Heck Patient has outright stated Islam is barbaric.

Islam is an Abrahamic religion.

Just because you've decided Muslims are your enemy, doesn't mean everyone has to see us that way. Leftist Atheists have decided the hard right and racists are their enemy. When muslims fall into that group, they absolutely include them.
Again a lot of lefties are complaining about Qatar and it's treatment of foreign migrant workers.

In a terrorism advisory bulletin released Wednesday, the Department of Homeland Security raised concerns about potential threats to LGBTQ, Jewish, and migrant communities from violent extremists inside the United States.Americans motivated by right-wing ideologies pose a "persistent and lethal threat," a senior DHS official told reporters in a briefing on the bulletin. "Trafficking in conspiracy theories only serves to ignite violence among extremists."
All of the right-wing media figures and politicians who have been labeling LGBTQ people child predators better learn from the mistakes of Alex Jones, or they will have a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit on their hands.
