This is the weirdest thing.

Those opposing the motion insisted that car owners should fabricate cages or use anti-theft devices to protect their cars.
These are adults. Officials.
They probably don't know the first thing about car manufacturing and they're lecturing car manufacturers. They refuse to target thieves.

I see stuff like this and it triggers my conspiracies that gangs have taken over government.
Wasn't there a lot more assassinations back in the day? What stops organized crime from intimidating public officials Fight Club style (If not running their own members for office, scrubbed of any gang affiliation of course)

Remember how offending people was common? What happened?
I mean, I can get behind sensitivity, I never liked the shock industry, but what I don't understand is this general fear at sparking a complete meltdown of society. That would have happened in the 1990's! It didn't, so why would someone being offended cause a mass uprising now?
