I do believe some of the MAGA cult could be swayed simply because of the "R" and some prodding from Fox news, especially if Trump were to endorse her for a pardon deal in that type of scenario.
She apparently does better against Biden than Trump does in the general election.

When Fox News broadcast true election results, it upset their viewers, and they left for more fringe news sources. Since the defamation lawsuits, Fox News has also been moderating its rhetoric, which further upsets the viewers who are left, driving them away too. They do not have the sway over Republican voters they used to have, and that is because of the monster of their own creation. Republican voters are loyal to Trump over their own families, let alone to their party, or their favorite news channel. They could not convince them to vote for Haley at this point.
I am not sure who Trump will pick to be his running mate. He knows now that he does not need someone like Pence to shore up a constituency, because his supporters are loyal to him, and he owns the party now. He will likely pick someone who he does not view as competition; a sycophant who will obey him over the constitution. I do not think it will be Tim Scott, because he does not want someone who can upstage him; and he knows where his bread is buttered, and he knows his voters do not like black people. He is probably going to pick some white, red state Republican who kisses his ass on news shows.
He won't pick Ramaswamey either cos 1. He doesn't like people who are richer than he is and 2. He doesn't like people who make him look dumb.
