I still have concerns about spoiler candidates, but zero concern for haley voters, because they likely just vanished. Her success wasn't about who she is. It was about who she was not, but not that's all negated now.

I've witnessed from the inside how leaders of a dying company behave when they allow marketing-mentallty to blind them to reality. Let me assure you (from 100% undisputable anecdotal evidence) that you will NEVER see executives more confident and certain of victory than on the eve of their bankruptcy. I think it's a habit from all the mental gymnastics required to stay publicly positive and confident, when reality already put them on notice years ago.

Possibly, probably, yes, but Republicans have done a whole lot in the last 3.5 years in key states to make it harder for certain groups to vote and they're absolute experts at sowing anger and discontent, making the flip-voters flip and making certain voters rage-quit and just not vote. Republican shittery can make people feel bad, when things are not really so bad, like no one else.

Trump is now claiming that Biden ordered the FBI to assassinate him when they searched Mar-a-Lago for the stolen documents and that he barely escaped. He was in New York at the time of the search. He's trying to get people killed again.
