It wasn't just the Russians that helped Trump get elected. James Comey had also opened up an investigation into Trump's campaign working with Russia weeks before the election. but for some odd reason he didn't mention that one, when he announced the FBI had reopened an investigation into Clinton. Then Comey did a 180 when Trump tried to use him like a personal attack dog.
In a totally unsurprising note, Republicans had no problem with Trump recently accusing Biden of trying to assassinate him, using the FBI as the assassins and that Trump barely escaped alive. Some Republican law makers co-signed and spread the lie.
