My favorite were the GI Joe action figures, which I had a shitload of. Only had a few Transformers toys, Jazz was my favorite. I had the giant plastic Godzilla and Voltron, V didn't transform though.

My Voltron was actually Lion-bot. Same exact thing with different decals

Wait, my giant robot had red fins coming off his cheeks and temples, that's not Voltron. I had some kind of fugazi.

The 80s sounds really bleak.

The Monstroids are Masters of the Universe's answer to the Transformers.

Also, it's funny how so many people hate the Disney SW yet they were the nerds that kept arguing about the EU. They got what they wanted, and what they deserved.

It's hit and miss.

That is true of all of Star Wars.

Star Wars (1977) was done by a fat nerd in California who studied WW2 propoganda films and Kurosawa. He then put the two together and tried to make it look like Over the Rainbow with modern special effects but he got married and his wife re-edited it with all those elements except Over the Rainbow. He got credit for plagiarism. Worse than any other dick except Walt Disney.

I passed that fat nerd's house on Saturday, then passed his vineyard and Sky Walker Ranch on Sunday.

Recently I learned that fat nerd helped edit the Godfather

Your inverted commas matter not.

Star Wars (1977) like the Godfather is widely considered as one of the greatest movies of all time.

The praise for Star Wars comes from special effects. See, I respect Lucas for his ideas of special effects. He's like an engineer, in a sense of building the things that turn a good scene into a great scene. Maybe it was him that made the horse head possible, or the gun shots at the end in post production? It's not like he wrote the story, did the casting, scene blocking, cinematography or screenwriting.

This is obvious in the prequels. Not only are all of these things wrong, the second is him trying to pander to his critics and the third is him giving up and tying to tie it back to the original. Anakin gets tricked by the dark side, Luke and Leia are born, Obi-wan and Yoda are back to their planets, the death star is getting built and everyone we don't like dies.

It just states a few quick ideas to cover up mistakes in production. Like duct tape.
