It was a bad night overall for Biden, the first half was a shitshow for him, but he improved during the second half. He had good points eg his acts for veterans, computer chip manufacturing, but he struggled to get them out clearly many a time.
Luckily for Biden Trump severely mitigated Biden's bad performance by being himself: compulsive lying to the nth, crying about personal grievances, dodging questions, blaming others for his own shit actions, offering nothing new, empty boasts, empty promises, great revisions of his own presidency and showing again that he's completely unfit to be POTUS.
tl;dr version: Terrible debate, Biden's too old, Trump's a legit danger and we need new laws on who can run for office
You know I like Bernie, but he's older than both of them.
Biden likely won't drop out, but if he did it would be Kamala Harris running and probably someone like Gavin Newsom as her VP. Have to have a White man in the mix to court the middle-right anti-Trump Republicans. Unless Harris decides she's done as well.
Absolutely, but there's no getting around that Biden had a bad night and he fueled the biggest concern against him, that he's too old and his faculties are declining. He needed to be the fire-cracker we saw during his last State of the Union. Granted, the Right complained and said he had too much energy.
Trump also had a bad night, despite coming off as being sharper of mind, he's every bit the dangerous fear-mongering demagogue.
