There's no way he would admit to a second "false accusation" incident, so he'd probably say that it's the same incident from long ago...But to maintain his innocence, the saga would need to have evolved from just the evil wicked neighbor, to the evil wicked ex wife who fell under her dark magic, and the evil wicked step daughter who was corrupted into falsely accusing him.
