..."once" ☝️😠

The suspect gained so much cult notoriety that Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, speaking at a press conference after Mangione's arrest, declared, "This killer was not a hero."

"In some dark corners, this killer is being hailed as a hero," Shapiro told reporters Monday. "Hear me on this. He is no hero. The real hero in this story is the person who called 911 at McDonald's this morning. The real heroes every day in our society are the women and men who put on uniforms like these and go out in our communities to keep us safe. This killer was not a hero. He should not be hailed." -foxnews

So basically only a few batshit evil goblins think that the CEO had it coming, and they're probably hiding out on some discord site. Good, keep ignoring the room. Keep telling your audience, who will not genuflect for your poor dead golden CEO, how easily they can become "the enemy within". They need to keep hearing that 👆

They should make this "hero's" identity and appearance public. You know, just so everyone can praise his heroics to him personally 😛

I don't condone the killing, but I'm also not losing any sleep over it, the CEO was not a good person. Like I don't think people should be subjected to rape in prison, they're there to serve their time, not their time + rape. But when I hear a rapist, especially a pedo was anally raped in prison, I kinda go "meh".

Speaking of, I wonder how Dadudemon is doing with his crimes.

That's ignorant! Allegedly! Allegedlyyyyyyy!

It's funny watching CNN and foxnews part ways on this. Fox goes after oligarch/gop approval, but with CNN it's all about the money and meeting customer demand to make more money. Their customers have put bad healthcare at the top of hot button issues. Foxnews' customers are similar, except they are being gaslit over it. "Nothing to see here. Nevermind that your parents were murdered by UHC...oh hey, look! Sleepy Joe Biden pardoned people! Reeeee!. C'mon say it with me: Reeeee!". The more foxnews pulls this schtick, the more they lose face with the same people they want to influence and manipulate.

I think pretty much everyone feels the same on this.

The vast majority is probably in that pool. But there's smaller pools of people who are absolutely cheering on the death and people who are absolutely condemning it.

When I read shit this like, just makes me go "meh" even harder:

"A recent report by the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations released in October highlighted UnitedHealthcare's use of AI to deny claims and found that the insurer's prior authorization denial rate for post-acute care jumped from 10.9% in 2020 to 22.7% in 2022. Thompson was named CEO in April 2021" -Snip

That's why the oligarchy is trying super-duper hard to accuse you all of celebrating the killer as a hero. Because it's somehow impossible to condemn murder while having absolutely zero sympathy for the "victim" who literally and DELIBERATELY profits from wrongful deaths, which are rigorously defended in court in order to keep them all perfectly legal wrongful deaths. Trump will "solve" the problem by blaming Obama and ending the affordable care act, leaving tens of millions uninsured, with not even a concept of a plan to replace it.
That will be the wake-up moment I think.

The problem is, or where the solidarity will fail to coalesce with people on the Left and Right losing their insurance regardless of who they voted for and we go back to "Your baby was born with a bad heart? Denied!", "You injured your back as a teenager and are having problems now? Denied!", is Fox News, Joe Rogan, One America News et al will tell their mouthbreather audience that it's immigrants, or Muslims, or the lazy or some other scapegoat is to blame and they'll eat it up, they always do.

(can't say it enough)Rightwingers are the most useful of useful idiots, even when they're dying from losing their healthcare due to Trump/Republicans repealing the ACA, they'll maintain the course. eg We saw it almost happen during Trump's first term and some of the very people who were going to lose their insurance and meds were cheering Trump on and they voted for him a 3rd time this year. edit: This time there's no John McCain to vote 'no'.

You should.

Hopefully he inspires more CEO killings.

LOL Imom.....

"Brian Thompson's killer was not a member of UnitedHealthcare,"

Okay then tell us which subsidiary of Unitedhealth Group he's a member of, you cutiepie slimebags

NYT is joining the charge, teaching their own master-class in reading the room:

That's your choice of which opinion you are allowed to have:
1-The killer is a Hero!
2-The serial killer CEO was a Hero!

Anyone who fails to have opinion #2 will be assumed to have opinion #1 and must report immediately to your local federal reeducation camp.
