Wrong. The fentanyl reason/excuse came after Trump had to buckle like a seat belt because he picked a fight and got slapped down.
"In 2024, only about 43 pounds of fentanyl was seized at America's northern border." There's no fentanyl crisis incoming from Canada, so there goes that narrative for Trump's tariffs on Canada. Canada's doing nothing much different
As for the massive amounts of fentanyl coming from Mexico, it's a supply-and-demand issue. US pharmaceutical giants got Americans addicted to fentanyl and now that addiction is fed cheaply from the South. You need to put a stop to the demand (addiction), if you want to put a stop to the flow. Mexico isn't going to do much different over the next 30 days.
